This is a white cake with butter cream frosting. The client wanted butter cream and not fondant. They wanted the frosting to look smooth and did not want it decorated with the typical star tip. It was quite a process to get each section smooth before adding another color. I have used a method to smooth cakes before, but those are typically all one color and a round cake. So this was quite an interesting experience.
