This recipe is entitled Cook-Off Barbecue Sauce from Phil Maine in Truckee, California. It appeared on page 14 in the August & September 2008 issue of Taste of Home Magazine.
I have altered the ingredients and method of cooking the sauce. The recipe was supposed to be made on the stove but I put it in the crock pot.

  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • dash of pepper

Directions

  2. Add the drumsticks.
  3. Cook on high for about 2 1/2- 3 hours, or until the chicken starts to fall off of the bone.
